About me

I’ve had an appreciation for art from an early age and have always engaged in creative pursuits for both pleasure and business. Having studied fine art at University of Nevada Reno before focusing on an Interior Design education and career, I developed a deep connection to the visual arts and because of this, continue to study, create and appreciate art. I consider myself both a plein air and studio painter, with each discipline allowing me to see and interpret beauty in natural, rural and urban settings. My enthusiasm for community and art has led me to serve as board member and board president for North Tahoe Arts, committee chair for North Lake Tahoe Plein Air Open and Festival, juror for Tahoe Mountain Show art exhibition/competition as well as panelist for First Lady Presents arts initiative for the State of Nevada.

My art education has included studies with plein air artists Andy Skaff, Antonin Passemard, Anastasia Dukhanina and David McCamant in inspiring locations such as France, Lake Tahoe, Russia,Estonia and Spain.
